We’re a property maintenance and repairs team based in Telford. We handle day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance for landlords, letting agents, supported and social housing, and shared houses (HMOs), as well as work for local businesses and estates. Typical jobs include general repairs and handyman work, plastering, brickwork, fencing, ceilings, painting and decorating, making-good after a tenant moves out (void turnarounds), and small building works.

We keep our pricing simple and open, so you know where you stand before we start:

As a guide: jobs under 2½ hours are charged hourly, 2½–4 hours is a half day, and anything over 4 hours is a full day. Where a job needs two people on site, the two-operative rate applies. Materials are charged on top at cost. We’ll always give you a clear idea of the likely cost before we begin.

No — the prices above are the prices you pay. RF Maintenance is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to your bill.

For urgent problems — a leak, a security issue, heating or a safety concern — we aim to respond the same or next working day wherever we can. Routine and planned work is booked in at a time that suits you. Call us on 01952 976880 and we’ll be straight with you about when we can get to it.

Yes. We carry public liability and employers’ liability insurance, and we’re happy to provide our certificate on request.

A lot of our work is on rented and shared housing — HMOs, supported housing and social housing — including repairs, safety-related jobs and turning rooms around between tenants. We also take on work for private landlords, letting agents, local businesses and estates.

RF Maintenance is the trading name of Recovery Focused Maintenance Ltd, part of the A Better Tomorrow group in Telford. We’re a social enterprise: the surplus we make helps fund A Better Tomorrow’s work supporting people in the local community.
